The Hyundai Creta is one of the biggest selling compact SUV in India and when it was first launched in the country, it took the country by storm and the company was selling them like hot cakes. The new generation came in 2020 and yes, it too is going great guns, but with the semi-conductor shortage affecting production waiting periods for the new-gen model have gone upto 8 months. So if you're tired of waiting and are ok buying the older model, then there are a lot of choices out there because the variants were extensive and well, the engine and gearbox options vast. So, here are some pros and cons if you're in the market for a used Hyundai Creta
PROS
- The Hyundai Creta has great driving dynamics and still remains a good car to drive. It is very stable at high speeds and being an SUV has a high riding stance which makes visibility better
- There is no dearth of features on the car and even today the old-gen model is not outdated, though yes, there won't be any connected car tech that you would get

The Hyundai Creta handles most of the bumps and potholes are dealt with ease
- You will get a petrol and diesel engine options and also manual and automatic transmissions on both and that's pretty extensive
- The Hyundai Creta comes with good interior quality and also good space for 5 passengers
CONS
- The old-gen Creta doesn't have cruise control, a feature which the competitors like the Ford EcoSport and the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross have
- There is no glove box cooling even in its top variant.
- The Hyundai Creta does not get driving modes like eco mode,sport mode and the city mode.
