Suzuki Releases More Pictures of the Baleno

We've already told you about the Suzuki Baleno - that will debut on September 15, 2015. While that is still a fortnight away, Suzuki has revealed a couple of more images of the car. Based on the iK-2 concept, which made its debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, Suzuki has played it safe - as far as the production model's design is concerned.
The carmaker says the Baleno is a compact model, and we think its dimensions will probably be the same as that of the concept, which was 4023mm long, 1920mm wide, 1450mm tall, and came with a 2520mm wheelbase. However, Suzuki claims its interior will be spacious. Anyway, from what we can see in the pictures, the Baleno gets DRLs along with projector head-lamps, which adds a bit of character to the car.

Under the hood will be a new 1.0-litre BOOSTERJET direct-injection turbocharged petrol engine that, according to Suzuki, will offer enough power and great fuel-efficiency. Furthermore, the Baleno's light-weight construction will allow it to deliver dynamic performance levels.

The car will also come with new system called Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki (SHVS) incorporating an integrated starter generator to assist the engine, which we will first see in the Ciaz in India.
