Tata Altroz Dual Clutch Automatic Variant Introduced; Bookings Open At Rs. 21,000

- Tata Altroz Dual Clutch Automatic trim can be booked for Rs. 21,000.
- Deliveries to commence from mid March 2022.
- Available with a brand new opera blue colour.
Tata Motors has commenced the bookings for the highly anticipated Altroz automatic for an amount of Rs.21,000. The car come with a Dual Clutch Automatic (DCA) transmission and the company is set to begin deliveries of the Altroz DCA by mid March 2022. The introduction of the automatic transmission to the premium hatchback was a long anticipated move, and it's now likely to attract more customers. This also makes the Altroz the first Tata model to get a dual clutch automatic transmission. Prices for the automatic Altroz are yet to be announced.

Commenting on this, Rajan Amba, Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Customer Care for Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. said "Taking our success story further, we wanted to delight our customers by introducing a world-class automatic transmission to the line-up in the form of the Altroz DCA. We are confident that the Altroz DCA will set 'Gold Standard' in automatics and will match the evolving preference of our customers."

Tata Altroz DCA will also be offered in the 'Dark Edition' guise
The Altroz DCA will also be introduced in a brand new colour called the New Opera Blue, and will be joined by the existing Downtown Red, Arcade Grey, Avenue White and Harbour Blue colour. The transmission will also be offered in the car's Dark Edition.

The dual clutch automatic transmission will come equipped with a wet clutch, and will be offered in top three variants - XT, XZ and XZ+ of 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine. Altroz comes with many premium features such as leatherette seats, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system by Harman, rear AC vents, cruise control, auto headlamps, iRA connected car technology, etc., and with the introduction of this auto-gearbox, the Altroz will be better equipped to compete with its rivals.
