TVS Apache RR 310 Launch Date Revealed

- The TVS Apache RR 310 will be launched on 6 December, 2017
- It gets a 313 cc single-cylinder engine, making 34 bhp and 28 Nm
- This will be TVS' most powerful road-going bike till date
We finally have confirmation on the launch date of the TVS Apache RR 310. The heavily anticipated motorcycle from TVS will be launched on December 6, 2017. The TVS Apache RR 310 (Yes! That is the official name of the bike) was first showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo held in Greater Noida as the Akula concept and is based on the BMW G 310 R, sharing the same engine and frame. We already know much about the bike such as the 313 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine will make 34 bhp and churn out a peak torque of 28 Nm. The power will be transferred to the wheels via a six-speed transmission and a final chain drive.
(TVS Apache RR 310S Spotted Testing)The RR 310 marks a lot of firsts for TVS Motor Company. It is the most powerful road-going TVS bike ever and is the first faired motorcycle from TVS as well. The RR 310 is also perhaps the first bike in the affordable premium motorcycle segment to get a vertical digital instrumentation console as compared to the regular horizontal ones that other motorcycles have. Quite cool we say! We might not have seen the bike in flesh but can say that it will be motorcycle with ergonomic suited for daily riding instead of committed stance on other bikes such as the KTM RC 200 and the RC 390.

TVS has taken its own sweet time with the bike and we are hopeful that the bike will be a hoot when we ride it. Hopefully, it will be sooner than later. The TVS Apache RR 310 will have its rivals in the KTM RC 390, Benelli 302R and the Kawasaki Ninja 300. While the Apache RR 310 is perhaps the least powerful amongst its rivals, in all probability, it will be the most affordable as well and that is precisely what TVS will be banking on.
