2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 Launch Highlights

The new Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 is quite a big step up over its predecessor. It is underpinned by Maruti's modular Heartect platform and sees a significant upgrade in its design, interiors, creature comforts and powertrain options. Earlier this week, the company also commenced accepting pre-bookings for the hatchback for a token amount of Rs. 11,000 and deliveries are likely to begin soon.

The new Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 gets complete design overhaul both on the inside & on the outside, bringing it more in line with Maruti-Suzuki's newer hatchbacks. The new Maruti Suzuki Alto K10's design is more rounded than before with a prominent haunch at the rear section of the car, similar to what we saw on the new Maruti Suzuki Celerio. On the inside, the new Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 is gets a new design and tech too. Apart from a refreshed theme of the dashboard, instrument cluster, and steering wheel, the new Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 also features Maruti's 7.0-inch SmartPlay Studio infotainment system.

Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 is powered by a new K10C 1.0-litre Dual-Jet petrol unit. The new unit produces 67 bhp at 5,500 rpm and 89 Nm of peak torque at 3,500 rpm, and will be mated to a five-speed manual gearbox as standard while the company offers AGS automatic transmission in the higher variants of the new Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 as well.
