Anand Mahindra Thanks PM Narendra Modi For Using Made-In-India Thar During His Gujarat Rally

- PM Narendra Modi was rallying in Gujarat ahead of state election results
- Anand Mahindra thanked PM Modi for using the India-made Thar in the rally
- The Mahindra Thar used by PM Modi was the soft-top convertible model
Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently held three roadshows in his home state Gujarat, ahead of the 2022 Gujarat Legislative Assembly election polls. The rally also celebrated Bharatiya Janata Party or BJP's victory in four different state elections, and during this roadshow, PM Modi was seen travelling in an open-top model of the new-gen Mahindra Thar. This evidently has very much pleased Mahindra Group Chairman, Anand Mahindra, who via a social media post thanked the prime minister for using a Made-In-India vehicle for his victory parade.
Anand Mahindra's appreciative Tweet for Prime Minister Modi, which was in Hindi, essentially translates to - "Thank you PM @narendramodi ji There is nothing better than a vehicle made in India for the victory parade!"

The Mahindra Thar is offered in both a fixed hard-top version and a convertible soft-top version, and the model used for PM Modi's roadshow appears to be the latter. However, it's unclear if the model is the adventure-oriented AX trim or the lifestyle-oriented LX variant. However, the model we see here appears to be draped in the Galaxy Grey colour.
