Hero MotoCorp Presents 80 Hero Duet Scooters To Women Police Officers

- MP is the sixth state that Hero MotoCorp has tied up with
- The company runs a variety of CSR initiatives across the country
- Hero has donated over 500 two-wheelers to various State Police forces
Hero MotoCorp has presented the women police officers of Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh with 80 Hero Duet scooters under its new project 'Maitri'. All the scooters are equipped with police accessories such as sirens, flash lights, PA systems etc in order to enable the police officers to do their duties. Madhya Pradesh is the sixth state with whom Hero MotoCorp has tied after Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Telengana, Haryana and Uttarakhand. The company has presented more than 500 two-wheelers to the Police Department of these states.

One of our key programs recently has been partnering with state police departments and empowering the women police officers with mobility. The extension of this program in Madhya Pradesh is a reaffirmation of our commitment and adds another chapter to our journey."

In order to promote road safety, Hero has set up traffic training parks in various cities such as Delhi, Gurugram, Lucknow, and Hyderabad and so on. Additionally, the company is also running a CSR initiative called 'Ride Safe India', under which it conducts various nationwide programs to promote road safety across the country. The company also has been working on a Student Police Cadets program in association with the Haryana Police.
