The upcoming Honda adventure motorcycle will get split seats contoured for better comfort over long rides
The previous teaser video revealed a Hornet 2.0 inspired face with a similar LED headlamp, while the upcoming bike is also expected to get a semi-fairing. The adventurer tourer will also come with knuckle guards with integrated turn indicators and a fly screen. It needs to be seen if the knuckle guards will be standard fitment or specific to the top variant. The upcoming offering is likely to be a soft-roader that can alternate between city commutes and weekend excursions.
There's no word on the mechanicals yet but the upcoming Honda adventure tourer is likely to share cycle parts with the Hornet 2.0. Power is expected to come from the 184.4 cc single-cylinder engine. On the Honda Hornet 2.0, this motor is tuned for 17.03 bhp and 16.1 Nm of peak torque. Power figures are likely to be identical and so will the ratios on the 5-speed gearbox. Other hardware bits will include the USD forks upfront and a monoshock at the rear. Disc brakes at either end will be standard with single-channel ABS. It needs to be seen if the suspension will be tuned for more travel.
