Honda Two-Wheelers Extends Warranty, Free Service Till July 31


- Free service and warranty extension will be applicable across India
- Extension for Honda two-wheeler customers till July 31, 2021
- Honda has also announced relief and support measures against pandemic
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has announced extension of warranty and free service benefits till July 31, 2021 in all its dealerships across India. The decision was taken to prioritise safety and well-being of customers and associates of the company, HMSI said in a statement. The extension will be applicable for all Honda Two-Wheeler India's customers whose vehicle free service was originally ending between April 1, 2021 and May 31, 2021. Reassuring customers facing restricted movement in several states, the company said it will support those customers to avail these services at their convenience at a later date before July 31, 2021, as lockdown eases.

HMSI has announces support and relief measures to fight COVID-19 second wave
Honda has also announced support and relief measures to fight the second wave of COVID-19. Honda India Foundation (HIF), the corporate social responsibility arm of all Honda group firms in India, has pledged Rs. 6.5 crore for five states, Haryana, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat. This includes setting up a 100-bed facility at Manesar, Haryana, and another facility at Tapukara in Rajasthan with a bed capacity of up to 100. The company is also setting up oxygen production plants in Manesar, Alwar (Rajasthan), Kolar (Karnataka) and Gautam Buddh Nagar (Uttar Pradesh).

The Honda India Foundation is the CSR arm of all Honda group companies in India, including HMSI, Honda Cars India, Honda India Products, Honda R&D India and Honda Access India. As part of the aid, the Honda India Foundation is also setting up temporary COVID Care isolation centres and oxygen production plants, among other relief measures.
