It is sleek, suave and definitely one of the best-looking 250 cc motorcycles on sale in India today. The Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 gets smouldering hot looks and the performance is good too. In Swedish-speak, Vitpilen means 'white arrow' and this motorcycle is an urban cafe racer. Properly chic and hipster, the motorcycle is currently priced at Rs. 210,022 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Interestingly, the word 'Vitpilen' means 'White Arrow' in Swedish. The 250 cc motorcycle gets a fuel injected, liquid cooled, single-cylinder, 4-stroke DOHC engine that produces 30 bhp at 9,000 rpm and has a peak torque output of 24 Nm at 7,500 rpm. Based on the common platform 310 cc manufactured by TVS Motor Company, the BMW G 310 R is also the most affordable BMW bike available on sale. It is powered by a 312.3 cc, liquid-cooled engine that delivers 34 bhp and 28 Nm of peak torque. This engine is paired to a six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch for easier downshifts and the bike also gets ride-by-wire system for precise throttle response. The BMW G 310 R is priced at Rs. 2.5 lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi).
Bajaj Dominar 250

The 2021 Bajaj Dominar 250 is priced at Rs. 1.54 lakh (ex-showroom), which now makes it a competitively priced proposition in the segment than before. The model continues to use the 249 cc DOHC, liquid-cooled engine that develops 26.6 bhp and 23.5 Nm of peak torque. The motorcycle is equipped with USD front forks from the Dominar 400 while a monoshock serves purpose at the rear. The bike also comes with a twin-barrel exhaust, bungee straps tucked under the seat to secure gear, an LED headlamp and taillight, and a redesigned secondary display to show time and trip information. The Dominar 250 is available in two colours - Canyon Red and Charcoal Black.
Suzuki Gixxer 250
