Hyundai's Vision FK Concept Is A 671bhp Hydrogen Sports Car

- The Vision FK can go from 0-100 kmph in less than 4 seconds
- It can be driven for 600 km on a single charge
- Hyundai has not provided more information about the powertrain yet
Hyundai has been pushing for advancement in hydrogen fuel cell technology. The company today showcased the new third generation fuel cell technology and while the application is still a couple of years away, Hyundai is working towards making it big in the fuel cell space and one area it's looking at, is high performance vehicle applications.
To achieve this goal, the Group has showcased a concept hydrogen-powered hybrid sports car, named the Vision FK. We don't see the shape of the car, because well, it's all under camouflage, but we know that it's a 2-seater coupe. With a maximum output of over 671 bhp, the Vision FK concept can accelerate from 0-100kmph in less than four seconds.

Hyundai says that the Vision FK can go for 600 km on a single charge.
The Vision FK combines a fuel cell energy converter with a high-power, RWD, plug-in powertrain and of course, you are wondering, what the range of the car is. Well, Hyundai says that the Vision FK can go for 600 km on a single charge. The South Korean carmaker confirmed it would stop selling fossil fuel-powered vehicles in Europe by 2035 and in other major markets by 2040, so the focus on Battery Electric vehicles (BEVs) and Fuel Cell vehicles is definitely something that we would expect from the company. The Vision FK is a great way to start things and we can't wait to see the production version.
