Kawasaki India Opens New Dealership in Coimbatore; 12th in India

Expanding its presence further in the country, Kawasaki India has launched a new showroom in Coimbatore. The is the Japanese bike maker's second showroom and Tamil Nadu and 12th in India. Spread across 2300 sq.ft. area, with an integrated 650 sq.ft. service centre, the dealership will be retailing the complete Kawasaki range, while the company states that the technicians have undergone specific training to cater to the high performance bikes. The showroom is located at CKS Towers, 1/433, Chinniyampalayam, Coimbatore.
Kawasaki India's lineup comprises of a host of offerings starting from the entry-level Z250 street-fighter, going up to the flagship H2 supercharged superbike. The bike maker that made its entry in India with the help of Bajaj Auto was one of the early players in the premium bike segment and has witnessed the exponential growth of the market in the past few years. The middleweight motorcycle segment continues to be Kawasaki's strength with products like the Ninja 650 and Z800.
Having introduced the 2016 editions of the ZX-14R and ZX-10R recently, Kawasaki India's next launch is expected to be the Ninja 250 SL single-cylinder offering, which will be the company's new entry-level motorcycle. The Ninja 250 SL will be significantly cheaper compared to the Ninja 300 and will compete directly with the KTM RC 390 and the likes in the segment. That said, a launch date on the new model is yet to be revealed. There were also reports of Kawasaki finally introducing the ABS equipped versions of the Ninja 300 and Ninja 650 in the country this year. However, there has been no confirmation on the same yet.

Speaking on the occasion, India Kawasaki Motors, Managing Director, Yutaka Yamshita said "We have established a new dealership in Coimbatore where customers can easily view their products and communicate with them." Adding further, he said that they will strive to increase the sales and service network continuously in the country.
