The initiative, which was supported by Mahindra's Group Chairman, Anand Mahindra, is one of the several other measures undertaken by the company to help the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. Earlier in May, the company rolled out its Oxygen on Wheels project, in a bid to ease the transportation of medical oxygen from manufacturing plants to hospitals and other medical facilities, in various cities across India. Before the end of May, the programme was initiated in at least eight cities, including - Delhi & NCR, Punjab, Hyderabad and Chennai.
