Land Rover has listed prices for the new Range Rover Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) for India. Prices for the new PHEV model start at Rs 2.61 crore and top out at Rs. 4.15 crore for the top-spec SV model. These prices make the new Range Rover the most expensive plug-in hybrid vehicle on sale in the country. The Range Rover PHEV will be available in both the regular and long-wheelbase body style with both using JLR's 3.0-litre Ingenium six-cylinder petrol engine in conjunction with a 38.2kWh battery pack and an electric motor.

Starting with the powertrain, the standard Range Rover PHEV is available in two specifications – P440e and P510e. In both variants, the 3.0-litre six-cylinder petrol engine combines with a 105 kW electric motor and a 38.2kWh battery pack with the main difference coming in the output. The P440e develops 435bhp and 620 Nm while the more powerful P510e develops 503 bhp and 700 Nm.

Additionally, being a strong hybrid, the electrified powertrain is capable of running on EV only with Land Rover claiming a WLTP certified range of up to 113km or about 88km in real-world driving. The battery pack supports up to 50kW DC fast charging with a 0-80% charge coming in under one hour.
Moving to the long-wheelbase model, it will only come with the P440e powertrain.
The Range Rover PHEV will be available in a total of five variants – SE, HSE, Autobiography, First Edition and SV. While the first four variants will be available with both PHEV powertrain options and in both body styles, the SV variant will only be available in the standard wheelbase with the more powerful PHEV powertrain.
Land Rover launched the new gen Range Rover in India earlier this year though only with the option of a V8 petrol and six-cylinder diesel engine options. The company followed it up with opening bookings for the range topping Range Rover SV and more recently, the new Range Rover Sport.
All prices ex-showroom.
