Tata Motors has revealed its new Curvv EV concept today. The Tata Curvv EV Concept previews a new midsize coupe SUV from the automaker, and of course, the new offering will be electric. Moreover, Tata will also bring an internal combustion engine (ICE) powered version in the future. The teaser video hinted at several possibilities on the electric offering, which included the new Sierra EV, Punch EV or even the long-rumoured Nexon Coupe EV. However, the final concept is much different and larger from expectations.

The teaser video of the upcoming Tata electric-SUV concept showed sharp lines and design elements like the front fog light structure, portion behind the C pillar, and even the headlights throughout the car, giving it an aggressive appeal. The concept certainly appears to be a big step up from Tata's existing range and design language, while the elements make the EV look like a car from the future instead of being an electrified version of something currently on sale.
One of the more interesting details, however, was the rear spoiler, or rather what's underneath it. The rear windscreen appears to be at a significantly acute angle to the rear spoiler, showing a coupe-like roofline on the electric SUV. The electric offering also has some tasteful roof rails running down its coupe-style roofline, and the SUV also features wheel covers to reduce drag and increase range, just like many other EVs on sale globally. More details on the upcoming Tata concept EV will be revealed soon.
