You Can Now Book A BMW On Ola

- Only the BMW 3 Series diesel will be added to Ola Fleet at the moment
- BMW will train and familiarise Ola drivers with its cars
- This feature will be added in Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru first
BMW India and Ola have signed a memorandum of understanding which now sees the introduction of luxury cars for the customers thus creating a premium experience. BMW is now the 'Lux Category Partner' for Ola and this means that customers can book a ride in a BMW car at the tap of a button.
Ola will induct the BMW cars into its fleet in three cities- Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru and the service will be extended to other cities soon. The only car that will be available is the 3 Series diesel and BMW can introduce other cars from its portfolio or even the petrol variant if need be. Customers can book a BMW via the app at a minimum fare of Rs. 250 and Rs. 20-22 per kilometre. These, however, are introductory rates.
(Frank Schloeder, acting president, BMW Group India with Pranay Jivrajka, CEO India at the launch event)The car can be booked in an hourly basis as well via the rentals feature and customers can avail of features like driver details being displayed up front, SOS buttons, Free Wi-fi, live tracking and many more.
BMW India will provide a 360 degree solution to Ola cab operators which takes into account both pre and post sales ownership. In fact BMW Financial Services India will offer 100 per cent financing up to 4 years at low interest rates. BMW India will also provide an assured buy back facility.
The operators can also benefit from driver training programs organised by BMW India which will familiarise drivers with the cars.
