2021 Hero Glamour 125 Teased, To Get Bluetooth Connectivity

- The Hero Glamour 125 will get new features including an H-shaped DRL

Having launched the new Hero Glamour XTec in the country recently, Hero MotoCorp is now gearing up to introduce the updated Glamour 125 motorcycle soon. The two-wheeler giant has dropped several teasers on its social media handles showcasing all that will be new on the 2021 Hero Glamour 125. And most notably, the bike will get Bluetooth connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation. In addition to the new feature, the new Glamour will also get visual tweaks and minor mechanical changes.

The teaser reveals a host of upgrades on the new Hero Glamour 125 including the LED headlamp, H-shaped DRL, new gloss-black paint scheme and a fully digital instrument console. This unit also doubles up as the display for call alerts via Bluetooth connectivity, apart from directions. The unit will also feature a gear position indicator, time and service reminder. Overall, the new Glamour will look more upmarket. Do note, the Glamour received an overhaul last year with the upgrade to the BS6 emission norms.

Mechanically, the new Hero Glamour 125 will draw power from the same 124.7 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that develops 10.7 bhp at 7500 rpm and 10.6 Nm at 6000 rpm. This engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The bike uses telescopic forks at the front and five-step adjustable hydraulic dual shock absorbers at the rear. The bike could miss out on the i3S idle start-stop system that's offered on the XTec.

Prices for the Hero Glamour 125 currently start at Rs. 74,900 and the model could see a marginal hike when the updated version arrives. The manufacturer will still keep a substantial gap between this model and the Glamour XTec that is priced from Rs. 78,900. All prices are ex-showroom Delhi. The new Glamour 125 is likely to arrive sometime in August this year.
