As far as entry-level sports motorcycles go, the Yamaha YZF-R15 is right up there with a strong blend of accessibility and performance. The bike remains one of the segment favourites and Yamaha has consistently updated the model time and again. The R15 V4 arrived last year with massive upgrades including USD front forks, revised styling and improved performance from the 155 cc VVA motor. The R15M gets the quickshifter as standard while the base variant can have it as an accessory
Performance
The Yamaha R15 V4 gets the quickshifter on the R15 M variant as standard. But if you want the feature on the standard version as well, the company will sell the Quickshift system to you as an option. You can also upgrade to more premium clutch and brake levers that are more durable than the stock units and also come with an anti-slip surface. The levers are adjustable as well.

Protection
Being a full-faired bike, the Yamaha R15 V4 can be prone to easy damage and Yamaha's accessory range has provisions to help you protect the same. This includes a frame slider, lever guard, skid plate, and even a fuel tank pad. Yamaha offers a seat cover for the rider and pillion seats that promises more comfort with slightly better cushioning. Alternately, Yamaha also offers a mobile charger and backpack as part of the accessories range.
