carandbike Accessorised: MG Astor

- MG Motors is offering a wide range of accessories on the Astor.
- Exterior fitments look minimalist and go well with its crossover design.
- You get a plethora of accessory options even for the cabin.
The MG Astor is the latest addition to the compact SUV space in out market and in typical MG fashion, it came loaded to the brim with features and advanced tech such as connected car features and ADAS. And if that isn't enough for you, there's quite a lot in the accessories department you can customise your car with. Now if you have decided to put your money on the Astor and you also want to shell out more to accessorise your car, there is a simple and interactive way to do that. MG dealerships are equipped with a configurator screen which comes really handy in selecting the accessories. The screen will display almost every accessory on offer and how they'll look on the car and with the body colour.

Exterior

The design of the exterior accessories is very minimalist and doesn't look odd on the Astor.
As far as the first impression goes, the accessories car does look distinct and stylish. What we particularly like about these accessories is the design. It's very minimalist and doesn't look odd on the car.

The chrome finished accessory look decent and not too blingy.
In keeping with trend, there is a plethora of chrome garnish and inlays on offer for the exterior and then for that quintessential SUV appeal you also have chunky rubber guards, side-step and it goes on. The fitments go very well with the crossover looks of the Astor and the mix of black and chrome uplifts its aesthetics.

The black finished accesseories look minimalist and not very bulky.
Be it the Morris Garages lettering on the hood, chrome on the wheel arch, a distinctive mix of chrome and rubber on the wing mirrors, scoops on the hood and fenders, black door edge guard with chrome surround or the black door visor with subtle chrome detailing, everything gel well!

The mix of chrome and black accessories looks good on the MG Astor.
Even taillight chrome surrounds subtly wraps around the corner and not the entire cluster which is a nice touch. While prices of exterior accessories start as low as Rs. 299 for the labels, it goes up to Rs. 16,140 for bigger and heavier fittings like side-steps. And still these prices may differ given frequent revisions in the pricing.
