- Classic 650 125th Year Anniversary Edition breaks cover
- Royal Enfield was established in 1901
- Special Anniversary Edition Classic 650 to be launched soon
Royal Enfield has unveiled a special version of its Classic 650 at the EICMA 2025 show. This 125th Anniversary Special Edition Classic 650 marks 125 years of the brand’s journey in motorcycling, a lineage that began with the first Royal Enfield motorcycle in 1901. The 125 Year Special Edition is a tribute to the brand and the Classic’s enduring legacy, Royal Enfield said in a statement.

The 125 Year Special Edition Classic 650 features a special paint scheme on the Classic 650. Embossed with a 125 Years crest in gold and classic red, the 125 Year Special Edition model employs what Royal Enfield describes as a “hypershift” paint application.

The paint option is said to fluidly shift between red and gold, bright and dark, and creates a dynamic visual experience that changes with the viewer’s perspective. The engine cases have been blacked out, as well as the exhausts and the wire-spoke rims. The seat also features a quilted pattern to add to the ‘special edition’ aura of the model.
Mechanically, there are no changes, and the 125 Year Anniversary Special Edition Classic 650 employs the same underpinnings as the regular Classic 650.
The same 648cc, air and oil-cooled parallel-twin, SOHC engine is used, with the same output of 46.4 bhp at 7,250 rpm and 52.3 Nm at 5,650 rpm. The 6-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch has also been retained. We expect Royal Enfield to announce the launch of the 125 Year Anniversary Special Edition very soon.
