Manufacturers and dealers are aware of this, which is why this time of the year you'll find and array of discounts and Diwali offers on cars and bikes. So, if you are looking to buy a car or a two-wheeler, this is probably the best time of the year to do it. We've already told you about all the discounts offers available on cars and two-wheelers already but here are our top 10 picks.
1. Ford Endeavour:

Perhaps one of the best deals if you're shopping for an SUV is on the Ford Endeavour. The entry-level rear-wheel-drive Endeavour with the 2.2-litre engine and the manual gearbox is no longer the cheapest variant at Rs. 25.50 lakh. The same engine and gearbox with the extremely capable four-wheel-drive system is now the cheapest variant priced at Rs. 23.78 lakh and the same price also applies to the 2.2-litre variant with rear-wheel-drive and an automatic gearbox. The 3.2-litre Trend variant (4x4) with the automatic gearbox is now priced at Rs. 25.93 lakh (Ex-Delhi), a Rs. 1.72 lakh discount! These offers are most likely to last till the end of this month but if you wish to wait, Toyota will soon be launching the Fortuner on 7 November.

With increasing competition in its segment Renault has been offering some huge discounts on its popular model Duster. The company is offering a discount of Rs. 40,000 on the AMT variant and at Rs. 11.36 lakh (Ex-Delhi), costs just Rs. 20,000 more than the manual variant.

India's leading car manufacturer's focus right now is getting the Baleno and Vitara Brezza to its awaiting customers, but its other models are now being offered with huge discounts. Maruti is offering discounts as well as exchange benefits on the Swift, Swift Dzire, Ciaz, Ertiga and the S-Cross across India. Offers include cash discounts of up to Rs. 45,000 and exchange bonus of up to Rs. 50,000.
4. Honda Mobilio:

If you're looking to buy a 7-seater family car, Honda is offering what could probably be the biggest discount this festive season on the Mobilio MPV. On all 2015 year models, Honda is offering benefits on all its variants worth Rs. 2 lakh and Rs. 1.20 lakh on the diesel and petrol models respectively.
5. Hyundai:

Hyundai is offering discounts on its entire model except for the Creta. While the Hyundai Eon and i10 gets benefits worth Rs. 62,500 (including exchange benefits), the Hyundai Grand i10 and Xcent get an additional cash discount of upto Rs. 91,000 on both petrol and diesel variants. Hyundai Santa-Fe also gets benefits worth Rs. 1.50 lakh.
6. Volkswagen's Volksfest 2016:

Volkswagen is back with its month long carnival, the 'Volksfest', offering attractive finance offers on the Polo, Vento and Jetta. Under the finance scheme both the Polo and Vento can be availed at 0% interest rate for 3 years or a cash back of Rs. 35 thousand. The Volkswagen Jetta can be purchased at an interest rate of 4.99 per cent. Apart from these offers the company loyalty benefits to its existing customers and lucky draw contest for a multimedia tablet.

On the premium end, BMW Financial services have lowered its interest rate at 7.9% irrespective of the loan amount, tenure or payment plan. With up to 40% lower EMIs and other offers like complimentary BMW service inclusive plus and BMW repair inclusive that are valid for first 3 years/40,000 kilometers makes it one of the most appealing offers in the premium segment. The offer is valid on BMW 3 Series, BMW 5 Series and BMW X3 till 31st October 2016. Rival, Audi is offering an exchange bonus of Rs. 1 lakh on all its cars including its new-gen A4 and 3 years extended warranty.

Apart from introduction of new colour options on the Star City+ and Sport this festive season, the Hosur based two-wheeler manufacturer has also introduced a more flexible retail financing schemes with a 3.99% interest rate offered across all its models. TVS has also introduced a 24/7 road side assistance program for free on all its models.

Ducati is looking to attract more buyers this festive season and will start off with a road-show where one will be able to test ride Ducati models and get discount on its official merchandise. The company has also tied-up with Yes Bank to provide customized loan options to the buyer.
