Made-In-India Renault Kwid, Duster Make Their Way To Nepal

- Renault will offer the Kwid with only the 800cc engine in Nepal
- Duster will receive 2 engine options: 1.6-litre petrol & 1.5-litre diesel
- The cars will be retailed via Renault's authorised dealer in Nepal
Renault recently launched the Kwid hatchback and Duster SUV in Nepal at NPR 1.68 million and NPR 3.53 million, respectively. The French carmaker will retail the cars via the Vishal Group's Advanced Automobiles Pvt. Ltd. The company adds its new facility in nepal has been designed basis the RENAULTSTORE concept that is conceptualized to "address the evolving needs of customers by highlighting the value of the brand, products, services and accessories".

Renault Kwid
Renault Kwid, manufactured with over 98% localisation, was first launched in India in October 2015 with an 800cc petrol unit. The car was an instant hit, selling an impressive 10,600 units within two months. With that said, the carline also added the new Kwid 1.0 recently that comes powered a 1000cc three-cylinder petrol engine with 67bhp and maximum torque of 91Nm. It must be noted Renault will offer the Kwid in Nepal with only the 0.8-litre engine for now.

Renault Duster
However, Renault will offer the Duster with a choice of 2 engine options in Nepal: a 1.6-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel. The compact SUV will be available in seven colour options: Pearl White, Galaxy Black, Moonlight Silver, Amazon Green, Woodland Brown, Comet Grey, and Cayenne Orange.
