Mahindra Scorpio N Set To Get ADAS Soon? Teaser Video Goes Live Ahead Of Launch

- ADAS likely to be offered in higher variants or in new top-spec variant.
- Prices currently range between Rs 13.99 lakh to Rs 25.15 lakh
- No powertrain changes expected.
Mahindra has rolled out a teaser video across its social media platforms that hints at an upcoming update for the Scorpio-N SUV. The teaser showcases a road with illuminated lane markings, suggesting the imminent introduction of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), likely at Level 2 capability.

The Scorpio-N is one of Mahindra’s most popular offerings, and this update aligns it more closely with its sibling, the XUV700, which already features a Level 2 ADAS suite. The Scorpio N's ADAS package could include features such as adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition, automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, and high beam assist.
In addition to the ADAS upgrade, a few reports also suggest that Mahindra may also equip the SUV with a panoramic sunroof, replacing the current single-pane version on higher trims. We could also expect higher trim levels to get ventilated front seats, 360-degree surround‑view cameras, and a fully digital instruments display.

The Scorpio-N is currently available with both petrol and diesel engine options. It is offered in five primary variants: Z2, Z4, Z6, Z8S, Z8, and Z8L, with a Carbon Edition available for higher trims. Prices range from Rs 13.99 lakh to Rs 25.15 lakh (ex-showroom), with the top-end Z8L 4WD Carbon Edition at the upper end of the spectrum.
No changes are expected to the powertrain with this update. The SUV will continue with the existing 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine putting out 200 bhp and 380 Nm of torque, and the 2.2-litre diesel engine producing 172.4 bhp and 400 Nm of torque. Transmission options will remain the same, with a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic, along with an optional 4WD system.
