Mahindra to Launch 5 Cars in 7 Months

Having already launched the facelift of the XUV500, the Scorpio and the Thar the company is looking to expand their portfolio in the next 7 months. Two will enter the compact/sub-compact SUV segment. The company has already revealed sketches of the TUV300 sub-compact SUV and has said that the car will be launching in September this year. The S101 is the other car and its launch will follow suit.

With the government bringing in a scheme for electric vehicles (FAME), Mahindra has plans to bring in an electric version of the Verito and this will add to its electric car portfolio. The company is also looking at introducing facelifts of the Bolero and the Xylo which round up the company's goal for this year.

Considering that there are already two sub-compact SUVs coming this year, Mahindra will have to re-think their strategy for the Quanto. Will it survive? When we asked Dr. Goenka this question, he told us to wait and watch and did not give a definitive answer.
