Maruti Suzuki S-Cross Bookings Open as Launch Nears
Bookings for the much-awaited Maruti Suzuki S-Cross have already begun at dealership level across India. Interested buyers can pre-book the car by paying Rs. 25,000 to be among the first ones to get the delivery of the car. That said, one must know that the company hasn't made any announcement regarding the bookings for the S-Cross.
Maruti Suzuki's first crossover - the S-Cross - will initially be launched with two Fiat-sourced diesel engine options - a 1.3-litre multijet and 1.6-litre multijet. While the former churns out a maximum power output of 89bhp and 200Nm of peak torque, the latter produces 118bhp and 320Nm.

The similar vehicle is also on sale in the European markets, but the India-bound model has gone through several changes. The most significant change will come in the form of increased ground clearance besides some cosmetic changes. Talking about the cabin, the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross will share its interior with the Swift as it will have the same all-black dashboard.
Upon its launch, the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross will take on the likes of Renault Duster, Nissan Terrano and the upcoming Hyundai Creta.
