MG Astor vs Hyundai Creta
Now, the Hyundai Creta has been the most popular SUV in this segment and has been among the best-selling SUVs in India. Given the fact that the MG Astor is a petrol-only SUV, for this comparison, we are only considering the petrol variants of the Creta, which are priced between Rs. 10.16 lakh to Rs. 17.87 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The base trim of the Astor undercuts the Creta by Rs. 38,000, and offers better features, while the top-end trim is cheaper by Rs. 9,000. Both SUVs come with the option of both a naturally aspirated petrol motor as well as a turbo petrol engine, and both are fully connected SUVs. But the Astor also comes with ADAS with Level 2 autonomous tech, which although is an optional feature for the top-end trim, gives the SUV an upper hand over the Creta.

MG Astor vs Kia Seltos
The Kia Seltos is based on the same platform as the Hyundai Creta, and they also share the engine options. That said, with prices for the Seltos starting at Rs. 9.95 lakh, going up to Rs. 17.79 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) the base variant is still Rs. 17,000 more expensive than the entry-level Style trim of the Astor. The top-end model, however, is over Rs. 1 lakh more expensive than MG's contender. Considering the Seltos gets similar features as the Creta, in terms of creature comforts the Astor is a better option.

Furthermore, the Astor offers better-connected technology, an AI Personal Assistant and several other features that are far more advanced.
