New Maruti Alto K10 Launched; Prices Start at 3.06 Lakh

First launched in the year 2010, Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 finally received an update in the country today. Available in a total of six variants - LX, LXi, VXi, VXi ()), VXi (AMT) and LXi (CNG), the new Alto K10 is priced in the range of Rs 3.06 lakh - Rs 3.81 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) making it quite an affordable vehicle. Just so you know, the Alto K10 is the 1000cc version of the Alto - Maruti's highly popular small hatch.
Like mentioned above, this is the first time that the K10 has received an update ever since its introduction in the market. The car receives not only new exterior and interior design, the company claims to have also tweaked its engine, 1.0-litre K-Series petrol, for better fuel efficiency. The new model is claimed to return an impressive 24.07Km/l with AMT and Manual gearbox.

The new model gets a chrome front grille, revised head- & tail-lamps, newly designed bumpers, 13-inch wheels and a few more changes. The cabin too looks completely new because of the dual-tone dashboard, new upholstery and control buttons. Out of all the changes that the new Alto K10 has received, the most significant is the introduction of Automated Manual Transmission (AMT), which is the same as the one found in the Celerio.
While AMT is offered with select variants, the old 5-speed manual transmission is a standard offering.
Variant-wise pricing (ex-showroom, Delhi)
