Supply constraints which has affected production has led to high waiting period for the new Maruti Suzuki Celerio
While this certainly shows that there is a high demand for the new Maruti Suzuki Celerio, the car currently commands a waiting period of up to 12 weeks, depending on the variant. This is mainly due to the supply constraints caused by the current shortage of electronic components and semiconductor chips. Srivastava said, "The demand is pretty good, but it has the same issue as the other models have, that's availability. That problem affects all models including the Celerio."

In fact, right now, Maruti Suzuki India has pending orders of about 2,50,000 cars in India due to supply constraints, which has led to long waiting periods on cars.
