Tata Harrier EV Claimed Range Revealed Across All Variants

- 65kWh battery with RWD
- 75kWh battery with RWD and AWD (dual motor)
- C75 range figures also revealed
Tata Motors recently launched the Harrier EV with much fanfare. After announcing prices for the rear-wheel-drive variants — which start at Rs 21.49 lakh (ex-showroom) — the homegrown carmaker has now laid all the range cards on the table. With two battery pack options and the top-spec trim offering a dual-motor setup, the claimed range is one of the most crucial factors for buyers. Here are the claimed range details of the Harrier EV:
| Version | Claimed Range |
| 65kWh RWD | 538 kms |
| 75kWh RWD | 627 kms |
| 75kWh QWD | 622 kms |

In terms of certified range (as per the MIDC test cycle), the base 65kWh has a claimed range of 538 kms, meanwhile the larger 75kWh with RWD (single-motor version) pushes that up to 627 kms. However, if you get the 75kWh with the new QWD dual motor setup, it has a claimed range of 622 kms, despite the added weight and power draw from the second motor.
| Version | C75 Claimed Range |
| 65kWh RWD | 420 - 445 kms |
| 75kWh RWD | 480 - 505 kms |
| 75kWh QWD | 460 - 490 kms |
However, these are tested under ideal conditions. The real-world figures that buyers will be getting from their Harrier EVs are reflective of the C75 figures. Now, according to Tata, C75 range figures are what 75 per cent of the customers are achieving in the real usage conditions with their cars. And under this, the 65kWh battery will go anywhere between 420–445 kms in a single charge. And the 75kWh RWD with be good enough for 480 to 505 kms, and the range-topping 75kWh QWD version could clock 460 and 490 kms between two charges.

- Fearless+ 75
- Empowered 75
- Empowered QWD 75
And it’ll come painted in one of four colour options: Pristine White, Pure Grey, Empowered Oxide, and the deliciously named Nainital Nocturne.
Pricing for the QWD variant remains under wraps for now, but prices for the RWD versions are out and it ranges between Rs 21.49 lakh and go up to Rs 27.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The cost of the charger and installation are excluded.
