Tata Harrier EV RWD Prices Range From Rs 21.49 Lakh To Rs 27.49 Lakh; Offered In Three Trim Levels

Having announced the starting price for the Harrier EV at the start of the month, Tata has now shared full pricing details of the rear-wheel drive (RWD) variants. As confirmed previously, there are three trim levels on offer – Adventure, Fearless and Empowered, with the Harrier EV RWD being offered with both the 65 kWh and 75 kWh battery options. Prices for the Harrier EV RWD start at Rs 21.49 lakh and go up to Rs 27.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The cost of the charger and installation are excluded.

Prices for the dual-motor Harrier EV QWD (Quad Wheel Drive) variants will be announced on June 27.

The Harrier EV does not deviate much from the design of its internal combustion sibling, with minor design updates such as an enclosed grille, reprofiled central air intake on the bumper and EV-specific alloy wheel designs. The cabin design too is more or less identical, with key changes coming in the form of an all-new 14.53-inch Neo QLED touchscreen, which Tata says is a first in the automotive space.

On the feature front, the Harrier EV will pack in a panoramic sunroof, multi-zone climate control, level 2 ADAS tech, powered and ventilated front seats, 360-degree cameras, remote parking, in-built front and rear dash cams, JBL Black speakers with Dolby Atmos and more. The QWD models will also offer six terrain modes, a transparent bonnet function for the 360-degree cameras and off-road cruise control.

On the powertrain front, the Harrier EV RWD is offered with a 235 bhp electric motor on the rear axle, offering a range of up to 627 km (ARAI certified) for the 75 kWh variants. Tata claims a real-world range of around 480-505 km. The QWD models feature an additional 156 bhp electric motor on the front axle and a cumulative torque of 504 Nm.
The Harrier EV goes up against the Mahindra XEV 9e, which is priced between Rs 21.90 lakh and Rs 30.50 lakh (ex-showroom, charger excluded).
