Upcoming Tata Punch's Cabin Uncovered In New Spy Photos; Two New Colours Revealed

New spy photos of the upcoming Tata Punch micro SUV have surfaced online, this time around we finally get to see the cabin of the car without any camouflage. Now, while the company has already released photos of the new Punch, so far, Tata Motors has not officially revealed the interior of the car. So yes, this is the first time that we get to see the production-spec cabin of the Tata Punch. The photos come from a video posted by an enthusiast on YouTube, and judging by the looks of it, this one is the top-spec version of the Tata Punch. A set of different photos from a separate spy video also give us a glimpse of two new dual-tone colours.

The infotainment system, which appears to be a 7-inch unit, will come with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
Inside, the new Tata Punch comes with a clean, minimalist dashboard, treated in dual-tone dark grey and white interior trim. We get to see protruding, horizontal air-con vents with silver bezels, however, the highlight is the stick-out display at the centre, which is similar to the one with have seen on the Altroz and Nexon. The infotainment system, which appears to be a 7-inch unit, will come with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, but we also expect the top-spec model to get Tata's iRA connected car tech.

Other features that we get to see here include - a multi-functional flat-bottom steering wheel, a larger instrument cluster, a bunch of buttons and dials for various in-car functions and a manual gear lever. The punch also gets fabric upholstery with some grey pattern, and while the centre console has cupholders and space for other knickknacks, we do not get to see rear AC vents.

As mentioned above, a different set of photos reveal two new dual-tone colour options for the Tata Punch. The first one is a metallic brown shade with a black roof, while the other one is a light blue colour with a black roof. Previous spy photos have already revealed an orange and black combination, while Tata has officially shown us a blue and white combination colour. So, one thing is for sure, the Punch will come with a palette of vibrant single and dual-tone colours to choose from.

As for exterior features, the new Tata Punch will come with projector headlamps with LED DRLs, and a beefy black bumper, underbody and side cladding, which add to the car's tough look. The car also comes with squared wheel arches, blacked-out pillars and faux roof rails. At the rear, we get to see a sculpted design, with compact wraparound LED taillamps, centrally positioned 'Punch' logo and a heavily cladded rear bumper.

Engine options for the Tata Punch are yet to be revealed, however, we expect the new Punch to come with a 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine, which also powers the Altroz premium hatchback. The petrol mill is tuned to make 85 bhp and 113 Nm of power figures. It is likely to come with a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard and an optional AMT unit.
