Bajaj Pulsar 250 Teased Ahead Of Launch This Month

Bajaj Auto has dropped the teaser for the all-new Pulsar 250 range ahead of the launch scheduled on October 28, 2021. The new flagship Pulsar has been a long-awaited motorcycle and will arrive in semi-faired and naked body styles. The motorcycle in the teaser video appears as an evolutionary upgrade over the Pulsar 220F and there are quite a few elements that we can look forward to when the model arrives later this month.

Previous spy shots have revealed a single projector lens with boomerang-shaped LED DRLs
Going by the spy shots and the teaser, the vertically stacked projector headlamp seen on the 220F has been replaced with a new LED headlamp with a single projector lens. The model also gets boomerang-styled DRLs, while the rear sports a new iteration of the twin strip LED taillight. You can also see the split seats, contoured fuel tank with the traditional Pulsar badge, split grab rails, and raised clip-on handlebar. The model is also expected to get a wider windscreen, a digital instrument console, telescopic front forks and a monoshock at the rear. It needs to be seen if the model will come with single-channel or dual-channel ABS.

The new Pulsar 250 is expected to make about 25 bhp from its 250 cc motor
There's no official word on the engine specifications yet but the new Bajaj Pulsar 250 range is expected to get a 249 cc motor that will belt out around 25 bhp. In comparison, the Pulsar 220F produces about 20 bhp and 18.55 Nm from its 220 cc DTS-i motor, while paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The new motor is also expected to get an oil-cooled set-up instead of being liquid-cooled.
