Car Sales November 2021: Tata Registers 21 Per Cent Growth In Domestic Volumes

- Tata Motors' domestic PV sales stood at 58,073 units, up by 21%
- Tata's total commercial vehicle sales stood at 32,245 units, up by 15%
- Commercial vehicle exports witnessed a jump of 124% to 3,950 units
Indian auto giant, Tata Motors reported its sales for November 2021 and the company's domestic volumes stood at 58,073 units. The automaker reported a growth of 21 per cent over the same period last year when it sold 47,859 units. Tata said its passenger vehicle sales in the domestic market stood at 29,778 units last month, up by 38 per cent from 21,641 units during the same month last year. Meanwhile, commercial vehicle sales in the domestic market stood at 32,245 units, as against 27,982 units in November 2020, a hike of 15 per cent year-on-year.

Tata's total sales recorded a 25% jump in November 2021 with 62,192 units sold, as compared to the same month last year
Tata Motors Limited sales in the domestic and international market stood at 62,192 vehicles in November 2021, witnessing a 25 per cent jump over 49,650 units sold during November 2020. With respect to passenger cars, sales of internal combustion engine models stood at 28,027 units in November 2021, registering a hike of 32 per cent over 21,228 units sold during the same month last year. Electric vehicle sales stood at 1,751 units, witnessing a 324 per cent growth over 413 units sold in November last year.

Tata reported total commercial vehicle sales at 28,295 units last month, a growth of eight per cent year-on-year, as compared to 26,218 units sold during the same period last year. The company also said that total MHCVs sales in November 2021 including M&HCV trucks, buses and international business stood at 9,505 units, compared to 6,340 units in November 2020. Commercial vehicle exports jumped by a healthy 124 per cent in November this year to 3,950 units from 1,764 units a year ago.
