Kawasaki Looking To Open 10 New Dealerships In 2017

- Kawasaki has 12 functioning dealerships currently
- The company will have 22 dealerships before 2017
- Kawasaki recently launched the Z900 in a limited edition colour
Kawasaki is very keen on building up a strong network of sales and after sales touchpoints in India. The Japanese bike manufacturer has started becoming more active after its split from Bajaj earlier this year. With new models on the anvil, Kawasaki will be opening 10 new dealerships across the country before 2017 ends. The company will soon inaugurate dealerships at Nagpur, Vizag, Kolhapur, Calicut, Mangalore, Kolkata, Bhubhaneshwar, Ludhiana, Dehra Dun and Goa. So before the year ends, Kawasaki will have 22 dealerships up and running in India.
(Kawasaki has 12 functioning dealerships at present)Kawasaki has already started taking bookings from some of its upcoming dealerships, before they start full-fledged operations. The company made this possible as it did not want the customers to wait any longer than necessary. Currently, Kawasaki has 12 functioning dealerships and the company says that the company needs more dealership in order to cater to more customers, which is a good sign. Out of 12, eight Kawasaki dealers also run a mobile service van facility. The Japanese company parted ways with Bajaj after an eight-year old alliance, which saw Kawasaki selling motorcycles from Bajaj's Pro-Biking dealerships.
