Mahindra Thar Delivered To Boxing World Champion Nikhat Zareen

Mahindra & Mahindra gifted ‘Mahindra Emerging Boxing Icon’ Nikhat Zareen a new Thar SUV, after her victory against Nguyen Thi Tam from Vietnam with a score of 5-0. She won the world boxing title at the 2023 IBA Women's World Boxing Championship in Delhi in March 2023, marking her second world championship victory. Zareen also won a gold medal and received $100,000 as prize money for her victory. Mahindra announced that it will gift Zareen the Thar back then, but the SUV was delivered to her recently.

Nikhat Zareen, the deserving recipient of the 'Mahindra Emerging Boxing Icon' award, said, “I am thrilled and deeply honoured to receive the delivery of the Mahindra Thar. I plan to utilize this rugged and versatile Thar to fuel my passion for exploration and adventure.”

Mahindra is renowned for supporting Indian athletes who present globally. They have also rewarded Indian sportspersons who have achieved recognition for the nation in the past. This includes Neeraj Chopra, the javelin champion who won a gold medal at the Olympics and was gifted an XUV700 from the brand.
