Launched: India's Most Fuel-Efficient Car; Returns Over 28Km/l

In order to further increase the sales of the already successful Ciaz, Maruti Suzuki India today rolled out a mild hybrid diesel version of the vehicle in the country. Called the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz SHVS (Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki) hybrid, the vehicle is priced in the range of Rs. 8.23 lakh - Rs. 10.17 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Interestingly, the company the Ciaz's old diesel range has been replaced by the SHVS-equipped variants.
