New Mahindra Bolero Power+ Launched At Rs. 6.59 Lakh

- The Bolero Power+ will come powered by the mHawkD70 engine
- It is claimed to deliver improved power and mileage
- The new Bolero variant will be available across 3 trim levels
The new Mahindra Bolero Power+ will be offered across 3 trim levels: SLE, SLX, and ZLX. While the new variant of the Bolero SUV, according to the automaker, offers "a peppier drive and better maneuverability", it gets the same interior as the standard model, including the 7-seater configuration, despite the fact that its length has been trimmed down a bit. The Bolero Power+ measures 3,995mm in length, while the standard Bolero EX and the SLE, SLX, and ZLX measure 4,221mm and 4,107mm in length, respectively.
Pravin Shah, President & Chief Executive (Automotive), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. said, "The Bolero has been India's No.1 SUV for 10 years in a row from 2005-06 to 2015-16 and the all New Bolero Power+ is an evolution of this powerful brand. In our endeavour to enhance the product value proposition, we have introduced the New Bolero Power+ with the mhawkD70 engine delivering more power, more mileage & a peppier drive. I am sure that the New Bolero Power+, with its overall better value proposition, will heighten its appeal not only amongst its core customers but also excite more buyers."
The new Mahindra Bolero's mHawkD70 engine delivers 70bhp with a peak torque of 195Nm. As mentioned earlier, the engine also promises improved power delivery and mileage over the existing Bolero. The SUV's design, both exterior and interior remains unchanged. As far as provisions go, the Bolero Power+ gets a digital instrument cluster, a Driver Information System (DIS), a voice messaging system, and the fuel-saving Micro Hybrid technology (ZLX), etc..
