Highlights

Riding on the company's latest offering Centuro, Mahindra Two wheeleres registered a growth of 152% in March 2014. The annual sales grew at 92% for the company in the year 2013-14. The company sold a total of 19,591 units in March 2014, with domestic sales standing at 18,953 units.

Commenting on the performance, Mr. Viren Popli, Chief of Operations, Mahindra Two Wheeler said, "In 2014 we have doubled our volume backed by the successful launch of the innovative Mahindra Centuro. We are glad that Centuro continues to receive an unprecedented consumer demand. We have extended our product range with the introduction of the new Mahindra Centuro N1 that is helping us reach new demographic segments. Our sales & distribution network is also rapidly expanding across the country."

What really helped Mahindra Two Wheelers to do well in terms of sales, is the dealership expansion that the company kept its focus on. The company today has over 1,000 touch points and is adding 2 new outlets every day.

The only product that is doing good for the company in India is Centuro, but the company will also launch its sports bike Mojo 300 in India by mid 2014. The bike was displayed at the recently concluded Indian Auto Expo in February. This bike will be pitted against the likes of Duke 390 and Ninja 300. The Mojo is a 300cc motorcycle, equipped with a liquid-cooled, 4 stroke single cylinder engine, producing 27bhp.
