The Honda Activa 6G is India's most-selling scooter and the undisputed champion on the Google search list too
1. Honda Activa 6G
The undoubted king of the segment also reigned supreme on the search list. The Honda Activa 6G is the best-selling scooter in India and received over 3.5 lakh average monthly searches between January and November 2021. It's also interesting to note that the Activa 6G was the fifth most-searched two-wheeler after the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Yamaha MT-15, KTM RC 200, and the Bajaj Pulsar 125. It was also the only scooter in the top 10 most-searched two-wheelers list with the next closest scooter coming in 12th place.

The TVS Jupiter is the country's second best-selling scooter after the Activa 6G
2. TVS Jupiter
Speaking of which, the TVS Jupiter was the next most-searched scooter in India in 2021. TVS' best-selling scooter is also the second most-sold scooter in India and received a little over three lakh average monthly searches between January and November this year. While the TVS Jupiter was originally offered as a 110 cc offering, this year also saw TVS introduce the Jupiter 125 as an all-new offering in the Jupiter line-up.

The Access 125 was also the 14th most-searched two-wheeler, two spots below the TVS Jupiter.

Honda has consistently updated the Dio over the years, which continues to make it a strong seller
4. Honda Dio
Another scooter that needs little introduction, the Honda Dio remains a strong seller for the company and has been around for ages. Honda though has ensured to update the model time and again, which makes it a popular choice for young buyers looking for the Activa's reliability, albeit in a fun package. Between January and November 2021, the Honda Dio received over 1.3 lakh average monthly searches and was the fourth most-searched scooter of the year in India on Google.

Rich in tech and performance, the TVS NTorq 125 is aspirational that further makes it a top-searched scooter in India
5. TVS Ntorq 125
The TVS NTorq 125 is easily one of the best scooters on sale right now and offers a healthy mix of sporty performance and rideability. So, no wonder, it's become an aspirational offering and generates strong volumes for the two-wheeler maker. In fact, about 1.10 lakh of you searched for the NTorq 125 on Google every month this year, making it the fifth most-searched scooter in India. The NTorq 125 received about 20,000 more average monthly searches every month than its next closest rival, the Yamaha Fascino on this list.

The Bajaj Chetak was the most-searched electric scooter in India on Google between January-November 2021
Bajaj Chetak
Clearly, the petrol-powered scooters continue to be mass favourites and this does make us question as to when will the status quo change between petrol and electric scooters in India. However, while we're at it, we thought we should tell you about the most-searched electric scooter in the country. And yes, it was the Bajaj Chetak. While it was far off from the top offerings with a little over 49,000 average monthly searches, it was still the most searched in its class beating some hyped offerings like the Ather 450X, and Ola Electric S1, among others.
