Two-Wheeler Sales October 2021: Bajaj Auto Sales Down 17 Per Cent

- Bajaj Auto's domestic two-wheeler sales fall by 26 per cent
- Overall two-wheeler sales slow down 17 per cent in October 2021
- Two-wheeler exports slid by 5 per cent in October 2021
Bajaj Auto has reported volumes of total auto sales in October 2021 at 4,39,615 units, down by 14 per cent from 5,12,028 units sold in October 2020. The company's two-wheeler sales took a hit of 17 per cent in October 2021, to 3,91,303 units. Domestic two-wheeler sales skidded 26 per cent in October 2021, from 2,68,631 units in the same month a year ago, to 1,98,738 units. The company's two-wheeler exports took a hit of 5 per cent, from 2,01,659 units in October 2020 to 1,92,565 units in October 2021.

The Bajaj Dominar 400 has establidhed itself as a comfortable sport touring machine, and is a popular model, apart from the Bajaj Pulsar range.
The company's total domestic sales (including two-wheelers and commercial vehicles) in October 2021, declined by 22 per cent to 2,18,565 units, down from 2,81,160 units in the same month a year ago. Total exports of Bajaj Auto declined by 4 per cent from 2,30,878 units to 2,21,050 units. Total commercial vehicle sales however, recorded a growth of 16 per cent year on year to 48,312 units in October 2021.

The Pulsar N250 is priced at Rs. 1.38 lakh (Ex-showroom), while the Pulsar F250 is priced at Rs. 1.40 lakh (Ex-showroom).
