Yes! That's right! Honda Two-Wheelers India is offering cash discounts of Rs. 25,000 on the Honda CBR150R and the CBR250R across the country. Along with these discounts, some select dealerships in the country are rather desperate to sell of the BS III models of the Honda Navi and they are giving the Navi for free on the purchase of the Honda CBR105R and the CBR250R. The current ex-showroom, Delhi prices for the CBR150R and the CBR250R are Rs. 1.24 lakh and Rs. 1.60 lakh respectively. One Honda dealership in Gujarat reportedly sold its entire stock of 124 BS III two-wheelers in less than three hours from the moment the company sent the prescribed discounts on the BS III models.
(The Honda CBR250R and the CBR150R are selling for a cash discount of Rs. 25,000)Ever since the Supreme Court upheld the ruling that there will be no sales and registration of BS III vehicles, most two-wheeler manufacturers have been sent into a tizzy.
Automakers such as Hero MotoCorp and TVS have been offering heavy discounts on their BS III vehicles stockpile and even performance bike manufacturers are offering attractive discounts. Manufacturers such as Ducati, Triumph Motorcycles India and even harley-Davidson have some stock of BS III bikes left with them.
