Hero MotoCorp Announces Global Ride To Honour Healthcare Workers

- The global ride will be flagged off on October 2, 2021
- The ride will be held across 100 cities in India, Latin America, Africa
- Hero customers can sign up to participate in the global ride
Hero MotoCorp has announced an iconic global ride titled "Ride for Real Heroes" to honour frontline healthcare workers around the world. The riders participating in the "Ride for Real Heroes" will distribute COVID-19 safety kits to healthcare workers including doctors and medical personnel in 100 cities and towns across the world. The COVID-19 safety kit will consist of essential health and hygiene supplies such as N95 masks, personal protective kits, sanitisers, gloves, and infra-red thermometers. The "Ride for Real Heroes" is scheduled to be flagged off on October 2, 2021, and will be held across 100 cities in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Guatemala, Colombia, Bolivia, Nigeria, Uganda, Kenya, South Africa, Turkey and UAE among others, where the participants will ride for 100 kilometres in each city.

The riders participating in the ride will be distributing Covid-19 safety kits across 100 cities is in keeping with our ongoing efforts to support the medical infrastructure in the country. For this noble cause, we encourage more participants from more cities to come forward and be a part of our 100 km, 100 cities, 100 rides initiative."

The "Ride for Real Heroes" has been organised to mark the historic milestone of Hero MotoCorp surpassing 100 million units in cumulative production, one of the fastest global achievements by an automotive company, on January 21, 2021. Customers of Hero Glamour, Hero XPulse 200 and Hero Xtreme 160R can register on the official website, rideforrealheroes.com to participate in the "Ride for Real Heroes" initiative. Hero MotoCorp is the world's largest two-wheeler manufacturer by volume, and the company has been at the forefront of launching several relief initiatives to battle the COVID-19 pandemic in India. The company has distributed free meals, donated first responder vehicles, ambulances, and also initiated COVID-19 vaccination drives in several districts in India.
