Hero MotoCorp Crosses 10 Lakh Unit Sales In Festive Season

"We have already crossed 1 million unit sales during this festive period, even before Dhanteras day. With almost a week remaining in the festive season, including the Dhanteras and Diwali days, we are confident of further adding to this tally," a company spokesperson has said.

Hero MotoCorp has reported its best-ever monthly sales figures in September 2016, selling 6,74,961 units in one month. The company has also posted a 27.74 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 1,004.22 crore for the second quarter ended September 30,2016. Hero has also reported its best-ever quarterly sales of 18,23,498 units.

Hero also clocked 6-lakh-plus sales in August this year, selling 6,16,424 units. Hero's total comprehensive income stood at Rs 994.72 crore for the quarter, while total comprehensive half-yearly income stood at Rs 1876.80 crore. With already 10 lakh sales clocked for the year, Hero certainly seems to be heading to end the year on a bumper note.
