Hero MotoCorp is on a roll. The two-wheeler manufacturer has set a record of selling two million units globally in the second quarter of FY2017-18 (July-September 2017). This is the first time that any two-wheeler manufacturer has sold over 2 million units in a single quarter. The company sold a total of 20,222,805 units, showing a growth of 11 per cent over the number of units sold in the previous year's corresponding quarter. Hero says that the sales were driven by the likes of Splendor, Passion and Glamour etc. Earlier last month, the company set a record of selling over 7 lakh units in a single month, with the festive season proving to be good for the company.
