Kia Seltos Sales Cross 2 Lakh Units Mark

- Over two lakh units of Kia Seltos sold in India till date
- Seltos contributes up to 66% to Kia's overall sales
- Diesel variants contribute up to 45% to the total sales of the Seltos
Kia India has had a fantastic start to it India innings! In little over two years of operations, the company sold over two lakh units of the Kia Seltos compact SUV. In addition, more than one and a half lakh connected cars have been sold by Kia in India since it began operations. Earlier this month, Kia India became the fastest car manufacturer in India to register sales of three lakh units in India. Kia reports that over 66 per cent of its total sales come from the Seltos.

If we were to break it down further, 58 per cent sales of the Seltos come from the top variants, while automatic variants contribute 35 per cent to Seltos' sales. Diesel variants contribute up to 45 per cent to the total sales of the Kia Seltos. Kia says that the newly launched iMT variant of the Seltos is seeing a lot of traction in less than four months since it was launched.

As far as sale of connected cars is concerned, the Kia Seltos accounts for over 78 per cent of connected car sales, with Sonet contributing to 19 per cent. The Kia Seltos HTX 1.5 Petrol variant is said to be the customers' preferred variant when it comes to buying a connected Kia car.
