Mahindra Bolero Neo N10 (O) Top-Spec Variant Price Announced

- Mahindra Bolero Neo N10 (O) is priced at Rs. 10.69 lakh (ex-showroom)
- It gets a mechanical locking differential on the rear axle
- It is positioned as the top-spec variant in the Bolero Neo range
Prices for the 2021 Mahindra Bolero Neo were announced about a month ago, starting at Rs. 8.48 lakh and going up to Rs. 9.9 lakh for the top-spec Bolero Neo N10 variant. Now, the company has launched a new top-spec variant called the N10 (O), which will be priced at Rs. 10.69 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. In terms of features, the Bolero Neo N10 (O), gets a mechanical locking differential at the rear, which is called Multi-Terrain Technology (MTT), over the N10 variant. So, the difference between Rs. 9.99 lakh is Rs. 69,000 and that is just for the MTT. But it also improves the capability the SUV significantly.

A mechanical locking differential or MMT in Mahindra-speak, is good to bail you out of tricky situations by providing more traction when engaged. A difference of 100 rpm between the rear wheels is all it takes for the system to be engaged automatically. Other features between the N10 and the N10 (O) stay the same, which are - LED daytime running lights, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Bluetooth connectivity, electronic ORVMs and so on.

The Bolero Neo is built on the third generation Scorpio chassis which is paired with a rear-wheel-drive setup. The 1.5 litre diesel engine remains the same as was seen earlier on the TUV300. For the time being the car will be offered with just a 5-speed manual gearbox. The 1,493 cc mHawk100 engine delivers 100 bhp at 3,750 rpm which is the same as before. The engine makes around 260 Nm which is roughly 20 Nm more than before and it is available from 1,750 to 2,250 rpm.
