Mahindra BE 6 Formula E Edition: Variants Explained

- This edition gets a host of cosmetic changes

The Mahindra BE 6 electric SUV recently got its second flavour of special edition in the form of Formula E Edition. This version of the BE 6 adds some spices from the brand’s motorsport recipe with a bevy of cosmetic changes. It is offered in two variants named FE2 and FE3, both running on the same 79 kWh battery pack as the standard model. Here is a rundown of what each variant gets.

Many of the features on this special edition are shared with the standard model, but the FE2 trim misses out on an ADAS suite, which is offered on the Pack Two trim of the regular BE 6, priced at Rs 23.50 lakh.
The standard Pack Two variant, however, omits a few, such as a 360-degree camera, front parking sensors, and auto-folding ORVMs. These are features that the Formula E Edition entails.

The FE3 trim adds adaptive suspension, which on the standard is available in the Pack Three Select trim of the BE 6, priced at Rs 24.50 lakh, though that version comes with a smaller 59 kWh battery, compared to the Formula E Edition’s larger 79 kWh pack. The standard Pack Three does get the 79 kWh version, but it is priced way above the FE3 at Rs 26.90 lakh.
