Mahindra BE 6 Formula E: Exterior
The BE 6 Formula E takes cues from Mahindra’s Gen 3.5 Formula E livery, but the changes aren’t limited to new graphics and paintwork. The front lighting setup is reworked too, trading the standard BE 6’s C-shaped DRLs for slim LED eyebrow signatures, while the main headlights move lower into the refrshed bumper as circular projector units.

The SUV gets dark liquid-metal lower cladding, paired with similarly finished front and rear skid plates, along with race-inspired graphics on the doors, fenders and bonnet. A 12-stripe graphics runs across the fixed-glass roof and bonnet, accompanied by Formula E badging at the rear, orange brake callipers, a sportier boot lip and roof spoilers. FIA branding appears on the windscreen and lower passenger-side cladding, alongside ‘Mahindra Formula E’ ceramic-paint lettering on the windshield.
Formula E badging and decals are further scattered across the front quarter panels, fixed-glass roof and carpet lamps. The motorsport influence continues in the profile with graphics and 20-inch alloys. The Formula E Edition will be offered in four paint options: Everest White, Firestorm Orange, Tango Red and Stealth Black. Towards the rear, the C-shaped lighting signature has been swapped for a simpler lightbar which mirrors the front.

Mahindra BE 6 Formula E: Interior
Inside, the BE 6 Formula E Edition continues its motorsport theme with orange inserts across the cabin. The cabin gets an FIA x Formula E plaque, along with discreet Formula E logos on the passenger-side dashboard and the seats. The seat belts carry FIA branding too, and the orange accents extend to elements like the steering wheel, in-touch controller, electronic parking brake, start/stop button and the door straps. The speaker housings and wireless charging dock follow the same black-and-orange pattern.
Moreover, this edition comes with a custom startup animation inspired by Formula E and exterior sound cues modelled on the series’ race cars. It also gets race racecar-style flap over the start/stop button.
Mahindra BE 6 Formula E: Variants and Price
The BE 6 Formula E is offered in two variants called FE 2 and FE 3. The former is priced at Rs 23.69 lakh while the latter costs Rs 24.49 lakh (both, ex-showroom). Each variant gets a 79kWh battery (ARAI-certified range of 682 km). This pack is paired with a single electric motor that makes a peak 282 bhp and 380 Nm.

Mahindra BE 6 Formula E: Bookings and Special Scheme
Bookings for this edition open on January 14, 2026, while deliveries are slated to commence from February 14, 2026. Mahindra will offer a set of introductory benefits for the first 999 buyers of the BE 6 Formula E Edition. These include a track-day session at the Mahindra Proving Track with driver Kush Maini, and a collector’s box. Early buyers can also select a preferred two-digit number (0 to 99) to be used as a decal on the SUV, and Mahindra says the customer’s first name will appear on the team’s Formula E car for the London E-Prix.
In addition, three customers selected through a draw will receive tickets with paddock access for the 2026 London E-Prix, along with a meet-and-greet with members of the Mahindra Racing Team.
