Mahindra Bolero Power+ Special Edition Model Launched For Festive Season

A new special edition model of the Mahindra Bolero Power+ has been launched in India for this festive season. The new special edition model will be available across all variants of the Bolero Power+ and will come with a premium of Rs. 22,000 over the asking price of the regular models. Currently, the Mahindra Bolero Power+ is priced from Rs. 7.85 lakh to Rs. 8.86 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new Bolero Power+ Special Edition model will be limited to only 1000 units and will be available only till the stocks last.
The new special edition model of the Mahindra Bolero Power+ comes equipped with a host of add-on features over the regular offerings of the vehicle. Visually, the special edition SUV comes with Special Edition Decal, Special Edition Seat Cover, Special Edition Carpet Mats, Special Edition - Scuff Plate Set, Steering wheel cover, Front Bumper add-on Fog Lamps, Spoiler with Stop lamp. Rest of the features remain unchanged as per the variant.

Mechanically, the car remains unchanged, as the SUV is powered by the existing 1.5-litre mHawkD70 diesel engine that is tuned to make about 70 bhp and develop 195 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard. Having said that, early this year in July the carmaker had announced that the Bolero Power+ model has received a BS6 readiness certification from the International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT), and the BS6 compliant model will be launched in early 2020. Mahindra has already sold more than 12 lakh units of the Bolero in India, making it the highest sold UV in India.
