Mahindra XUV700 Cabin Teased Showing Drive Modes- Zip, Zap, Zoom

- The Mahindra XUV700 gets new drive modes called- Zip, Zap and Zoom.

The Mahindra XUV700 has been the talk of the town these days. First we saw multiple spy images of the SUV, both camouflaged and undisguised, and now Mahindra has released a new teaser revealing more features. One of the new features the Mahindra XUV700 will get is drive modes and the automaker has given it quite quirky names- Zip, Zap, Zoom, while you also get a custom mode additionally. While the Zip and Zap are likely to be Eco and Comfort modes respectively, as the name suggests, Zoom should be the performance oriented Sport mode. But these modes are offered only on the diesel powertrain.

The Mahindra XUV700 gets a single console for infotainment and digital instrument cluster.
In fact, the new Mahindra XUV700 is expected to be loaded to the brim when it comes to tech and creature comforts. The infotainment system is powered by the AdrenoX interface which is compatible with Amazon's Alexa virtual assistant enabling it to do things like open the sky roof and can also enable immersive 3D music using speech recognition. The 3D sound system is powered by Sony and in the teaser, the dashboard looks a bit familiar to the one seen on the Kia Seltos, featuring a single horizontal console for the digital instrument cluster and infotainment screen.

AdrenoX will be the user interface on the Mahindra XUV700, and will also come with voice command
In addition to these, smart door handles and massive panoramic sunroof are also available on the XUV700. It will also get driver drowsiness detection feature, auto booster headlamps and personalised safety alerts among others. The 2021 Mahindra XUV700 SUV will sport exterior elements like the signature-style chrome grille, aggressive-looking LED headlamps with LED DRLs, larger alloy wheels, C-shaped wraparound LED taillights and more. On the inside, the SUV will get dual screens for the digital console and the infotainment system, electrically adjustable front seats with memory function, drive modes, engine start-stop, Level 1 autonomous driving and panoramic sunroof among others. It is expected to come with a choice of petrol and diesel powertrains. While the petrol mill is likely to be Mahindra's new 2.0-litre, four-cylinder mStallion turbocharged unit, the oil burner could be a new 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine. Both engines are likely to be paired with a manual gearbox along with an optional automatic transmission and optional All-Wheel-Drive (AWD) system on range-topping trims.
